Yes. You may purchase a ramp sticker at the Town Clerk's Office or the Town Marina Office for $7.

You must go down to the Town Clerk’s office and put your name on a waiting list.

4. How much is a boat slip per foot?

The cost is $60 per foot (minimum of $1,200).

The cost is $45 for any boat or jet ski.

The cost is $10 a day ($1.10 per foot per day the Friday immediately before Memorial Day to the Tuesday immediately after Labor Day).

7. How much is a transient slip for non-residents?

The cost is $35 a day ($2.10 per foot per day the Friday immediately before Memorial Day to the Tuesday immediately after Labor Day).

8. Is there a place to clean off my boat after I take it out of the water?

Yes, we have a wash down area near the ramp.

9. What channel does the Public Safety Marina monitor?

The Public Safety Marina monitors Channel 16.

10. What is the posted speed limit in the Nissequogue River and Stony Brook Harbor?

The speed limit is 5 mph, according to the Town of Smithtown Code (318-9-B).

11. Where can I launch my boat with a permit?

You can launch your boat at the Kings Park Bluff ramp and the Long Beach ramp.

12. Where do I get a boat ramp permit?

You can purchase a ramp permit at the Town Clerk’s office during the week and at the marina at Long Beach during the weekends.

13. Where do I get a residency sticker?

You can request a resident parking permit online at www.tocite.net/smithtownny/portal by creating an account and uploading a photocopy of your vehicle registration. Once your request is approved by the Town Clerk’s Office, it will be sent to you through the mail. They are also available to request at the Town Clerk’s Office and the Parks Department by showing your driver’s license and vehicle registration bearing a Town of Smithtown address.
