PUBLIC NOTICE, pursuant to Article 16 of the Town Law and the Subdivision Regulations of
the Town of Smithtown, is hereby given that the Planning Board of the Town of Smithtown
will hold a meeting at the Smithtown Senior Citizens Center, 420 Middle Country Rd.,
Smithtown, on Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at 8:00 P.M. to consider the following at
which time all interested persons may appear before the Board to be heard on these
matters:

SUBDIVISION APPLICATION KNOWN AS MAP OF BRIDLE COURT, #1147.
Preliminary plat owned by Donald & Lesley Woodworth, 15 Woodfield Ave., Ft. Salonga, NY
11768, c/o Vincent J. Trimarco, Esq., 1038 W. Jericho Tpke., Smithtown, NY 11787,
located on the east of Woodfield Avenue, 53.99 ft. south Woodfield Court, Ft. Salonga,
Town of Smithtown, Suffolk County N.Y.,
(SCTM #: 0800-2-5-40.1) Zoning District: R-21 & R-43.
Request: Permission to subdivide 3.167 acres in order to create 3 residential building lots
(2 lots existing).

PERFORMANCE BOND EXTENSION for FILED SUBDIVISION known as MAP OF
POVEROMO ESTATES, #934 located on the north side of Oakside Dr. 3000 ft. east of Landing
Ave., Smithtown, Town of Smithtown, Suffolk County, N.Y.
(SCTM #: 0800-35-3-20). Zoning District R-43.
The Board will consider the request of Vito Poveromo, 152 Oakside Dr., Smithtown, NY
11787 to retroactively extend the performance bond for three consecutive 2-year periods
from November 28, 2006 to November 28, 2012 and an additional 30-day period so as to
expire on December 28, 2012.

WAIVER REQUEST for FILED SUBDIVISION known as MAP OF POVEROMO ESTATES,
#934 located on the north side of Oakside Dr. 3000 ft. east of Landing Ave., Smithtown, Town of
Smithtown, Suffolk County, N.Y.
(SCTM #: 0800-35-3-20). Zoning District R-43.
The Board will consider the request of Vito Poveromo, 152 Oakside Dr., Smithtown, NY
11787 to waive the requirement of installing sidewalks and curbing within the subdivision.

WAIVER REQUEST for FILED SUBDIVISION known as O’MARA PLAT #1122, located on
the east side of Cambon Ave., 759.40 ft. south of Woodlawn Ave., St. James Town of
Smithtown, Suffolk County, N.Y. (SCTM #: 0800-87-2-5.1 & 5.2). Zoning District R-21
The Board will consider the request of Joseph Meli, 11 Storyland Rd., St. James, NY 11780
to waive the requirement of installing sidewalks within the subdivision.

COMMERCIAL CENTER – LOWE’S HOME CENTER (Retail Store), located on the
southwest corner of Henry Street & Crooked Hill Road, Commack, Town of Smithtown,
Suffolk County, NY (SCTM#: 174-2-50.1+) Zoning District: SCB.
The Board will consider the request of Lowe’s Home Center, Inc., 19 Cedar St., Riverdale, NJ
to permit the construction of a 166,000 sq. ft. retail building.
