Road closures to be expected on June 26, 2021, from 7 A.M. to 10 A.M.
In commemoration of Navy SEAL Lt. Michael P. Murphy, the Run Around the Lake organization has arranged a 5K and 15K run that will be held in Smithtown. The purpose of this run is to honor Lt. Michael Murphy and others who have given their lives for our nation. The event will be held this Saturday, June 26th, from 7 A.M. to 11 A.M. The following road closures should be expected.
From 7 A.M. to 10 A.M., Brooksite Drive will be closed from Brook Lane to New Mill Road. Community members who reside on Brooksite Drive south of Cygnet Drive, please go southbound on Brooksite Drive to exit, or use Brook Lane to re-enter the area. Community members who reside Brooksite Drive north of Cygnet Drive, please go northbound on Brooksite Drive to exit. Members who live in the Forestwoods area can take Albatross Lane or Mark Drive to exit. Juniper Lane to Sweetbriar Drive should be used to re-enter the neighborhood.
