Smithtown Senior Citizens Department to Hold an Open House for Senior Clubs on September 16th
The Town of Smithtown Senior Citizens Department will hold an Open House to showcase the variety of available Senior Clubs. The open house will take place on Monday, September 16th from 12:00PM to 2PM in the Senior Citizens Center auditorium. This event is open to all residents of the Town of Smithtown aged 60 and over.
The Town of Smithtown sponsors eight clubs in the Smithtown township. Clubs meet twice a month on scheduled days in various locations within Smithtown, St. James and Kings Park. A Club Leader is assigned to each Club, providing members with information on center activities, trips, programs, etc. At the Open House, residents can meet with Club Presidents and their members and learn what each faction offers. Coffee and cake will be served as well.
