Solar Energy System

The Town of Smithtown has completed the installation of a fifty kilowatt solar energy system. This new system is one of the largest solar electric systems installed on a municipal building in Suffolk County. The new facility will provide electric power to the town’s recycling center at 85 Old Northport Road in Kings Park.
